Did you know that just by the way you use your Chinese chopsticks, people can tell where your soulmate is from?

Call it an old wives’ tale or a superstition, but one popular belief in China is that the location of your soulmate can be inferred from the way you hold your chopsticks.

So what does this mean for you?

Well, if you are dating a Chinese person, it wouldn't hurt to hold your chopsticks in way that says your true love is from a far, far away country like China!

Even if your Chinese girlfriend doesn’t believe in that sort of thing, it might help. And it certainly wouldn't hurt!

Why?

Because maybe her friends or family do believe in that sort of thing. And hopefully things will go well enough between you that eventually you will eat dinner with her friends and family. At worst, they won't pay attention to your chopsticks. And at best they'll see it as yet another sign that you two are meant to be together.
