Snail Mail Gift Ideas for my Chinese Girlfriend

I have the feeling we are coming closer together although we are still 8888 km apart. She's going to apply for a visa to visit me (for a few weeks) after spring festival. I want to send something with “snail mail” for Chinese new year.
Do you have a good suggestion ?

Happy to hear from you again, and I am even happier to hear that you two are getting even closer with each other.

As for gifts you want to send her by “snail mail”, you could send her jewelry (but no diamonds yet). For instance, you could send her a necklace or a pair of earrings.

Or you could choose other kind of gifts. For instance, a beautiful hat, or a handbag, etc. Just remember that the first gift you send her shouldn't be too expensive.

And in your letter to her, you could give her some advice. Explain how to get her visa easier or ask her if she will need your help to get the visa, or offer to help write her application letter. You get the idea. Let her feel that you are always there with a helpful hand, and that will make her feel you two are close with each other.
