I want to type pinyin words with the tone markers.
I would like to know which pinyin programme would be good for practicing typing the tone markers in pinyin words. I want to be able to type pinyin words with the tone markers in my Chinese language studies to help me improve my pronunciation skills.
I appreciate any information on this.
Sincerely,
Eric

Hi Eric,
Thanks for your interest in learning Chinese. I am happy that you desire to improve your pronunciation.
For Pinyin pronunciation, take a look at the Chinese-Pinyin Translator programme. It's very helpful for practicing the tone markers and pronunciation.
To actually type the pinyin words, you can type the number of the tone beside the vowel. This website describes how you can enter Pinyin tone marks using macros in your word processor, or also using a programme called NJ star: Pinyin fonts
Chinese-tools.com also offers an online pinyin keyboard to help you type the tone markers.
Wishing you great success with your Chinese studies.
Best Regards,
