Since the establishment of the Wisdom Chinese School in 1995, the school has established campuses located in various regions of Sacramento and Elk Grove, California. Approximately 25 classes in both Mandarin and Cantonese are now offered.
There are 24 teachers and about 350-400 students. The class size ranges from 10 to 25 students, and the assignment of students to classes is based on a Chinese language level assessment.
Their classes are available for students age 5 and up.
Special school sponsored activities include:
- parent conference on the first day of class

- Christmas celebrations
- Chinese zodiac poster contest
- Chinese New Year celebrations
- Mother’s Day celebration
- year end Award Day
Each year, from the end of June through mid July they offer a Wisdom Camp and Chinese Culture Camp for Children. If the demand is high enough, they may offer summer courses for folk dance, arts and crafts, music and choir, Chinese painting, Chinese yo-yo, and Chinese conversational skills improvement.
